Artist's Comments

This picture was taken July 25, 2004 in Colorado near the Continental Divide. I'm not sure of the exact location. This particular photo was taken with just a regular old, disposable camera. Yeah, it's not the best shot in the world, but the scenary is beautiful to me.
I slaved a good hour over my photo editing program to make it perfect. It's kind of a small photo, but I had to make it small. The bigger version was horrible!

Anyway, what's a Tundra Mountain Pass? Well, Tundra doesn't always pertain to snowy places like the Arctic. It's mainly places that are so high in altitude that flora doesn't grow in abundance. If you look closely, you'll see that on the left peaks there are big, brown patches. That's the Tundra part of the landscape. As far as the Mountain Pass part, this is a pass through some mountains.

This is my first photo, I know it's not very good, but like I said; it was taken with a regular old, disposable camera.

looks like something off a movie that you never see in actual life.

word is neither deed nor product, but counterfeit representation of value.

I'm not entirely sure. It's been at least a year and I really didn't know at the time! It is a beautiful place though.

Makes me want to steal my roomates Rebel XTi and camp out on top of Mt. Werner for some photos.

Even though its taken on a disposable, it actually reminds me very much of something you'd see on a postcard, or in a filming locale portfolio lol

Aw, thanks! It made me think of Lord of the Rings, actually!

Minus the highway of course ;)
:iconaegis-kotetsu:
lol Yeah, that would have been a BIG editing mistake! I can see it now, Gimley walking along and then seeing the highway, then started ranting and raving how they could have drove instead of ran all the way!
